DON'Ts

Don't ring central during an electrical storm.

Don't take down receiver of your phone unless it is your call.

Don't ring on your line until you first see that it is not busy.

Don't forget that business comes before pleasure at all times.

Don't violate sections 2 and 3 of Article 11 of By-Laws.

Don't fail to ring off after using your phone.

Don't use your line for more than 5 consecutive minutes, especially when some one is waiting to use the line.

Don't complain of service until your phone and line is first in good shape then report any complaints to some of the officers of the association.

Don't expect service unless you pay your dues and assessments promptly to the treasurer of your line.

Don't forget that the Cherokee County Mutual Telephone Association is one of the greatest organizations of its kind in the state. That it is kept up by all for the benefit of all. Pay your dues promptly.

Don't forget that you have free service all over the rural districts of this county; also with every city in the county and with part of Jasper County Missouri, Ottawa County, Oklahoma and also Crawford and Labette counties.

Don't forget that your dues are payable to the treasurer of your line quarterly in advance.
