On January 5, 2004, Columbus Telephone Company broke ground on a fiber-to-the-premise project to be completed mid-summer 2005. When finished, every home and business will have fiber connectivity, with voice, video and high-speed data. This broadband network will connect to the world over the company's fiber optic links to all major inter-exchange carriers.
