Welcome to the automated bill
payment system, secured and operated by PayDQ for your local telecommunications provider.
You may view and pay your bill using electronic check, or a VISA, MasterCard,
Discover or American Express credit card. The information you submit on this site is secure and will be
kept confidential. All communications between you and PayDQ are encrypted using
Secure Sockets technology and strong security procedures are maintained and
monitored in our processing center. We safeguard any personal information you
may supply and do not share it. NOTICE TO OUR ELECTRONIC BILL PAYMENT CUSTOMERS This is to notify our customers of a small, yet important change to our eBill system. Effective May 1, 2008, the option to ask for a customer’s maiden name as a security question for forgotten passwords will no longer be available. Customers who currently have this question selected will need to choose a new security question the next time they use the system’s password retrieval process. This change is being made to maintain our eBill system’s compliance with CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information) regulations. The steps outlined below are the process customers will need to follow to implement the new security question.
-
When the customer clicks on the “Forgot Password” link and enters his/her account number, the following message should appear: “Sorry, we are Unable to recover you password, please contact your service provider.
-
The customer must then contact our office at 429-3132 or coltelco@columbus-ks.com and our staff will manually reset your password. When the password is reset by our office, an e-mail will be generated and sent to the customer with a temporary password for the system.
-
When the temporary password is used, the eBill system will automatically force the customer to create a new password and select a new security question. This completes the process.
We apologize for this inconvenience, but it is necessary for compliance to the CPNI regulations the government has imposed upon us.
Thank you,
Columbus Telephone Associates
